An ex football player, a former teacher, a mother, a bankrupt business owner; these were some of the integral members of ‘Tent City’, a small community who lived along the banks of the Brisbane River.
Developers have since forced these long term residents out, and no doubt the place they called home, will be bulldozed, apartment complexes will be built, and those who can afford the ‘inner city chic’ lifestyle, will move in. As one community is broken, another is constructed.
